Being an Australian, who studied feet and inches in school, it took me a while to embrace metric measurements.  Not long after I started thinking in centimetres discovered quiltmaking, and rulers with measurements marked in inches.  So I completed the circle and switched back to inches for sewing (and my height)

"So what?" You ask. Well this means that my pattern’s ‘Requirements List’ gives metric and imperial measurements, the cutting and sewing directions are in inches. If you have a quilting background and already use rotary cutting it will be fast and easy to cut your pieces.

Only some patterns have templates, many only give cutting directions in various size squares, rectangles or strips. Don’t worry if you use scissors. You will only need a ruler with inch measurements and a soft pencil.  You rule your pattern shape straight onto the wrong side of the fabric. This is your cutting line.

If you are not sure if this style of pattern will suit your thinking and sewing style, check out the free 'Super Speedy Zippered Purse' pattern. You will not even need a zipper foot it is that quick & easy.

Two of the main advantages of an ePattern/pdf pattern are, the lack of mailing charges and the fast delivery times. You can start stitching as soon as your payment is cleared.

The 'Super Speedy Zippered Purse' pattern was the first ePattern that I made. If you haven't already got your free copy, you can download it here.
